The CYP Boxing Championships is one of the hi-lights of the annual boxing calendar. Boxing coaches and participants consistently give positive feedback about the standards of which these high profile championships are delivered. Past winners include Amir Khan, Frankie Gavin and Ricky Hatton and the standard of boxing continues to be of the highest quality.

More than 6,000 young people participate in these unique UK wide championships, with up to 35 local events feeding into the regional finals. Successful regional teams are invited to represent their Country, City or County organisations in the prestigious finals held at the Soccer Dome, Trafford Park, Manchester.

The CYP Sports Hall Athletics Program will allow clubs from across the country to compete against other clubs through a National Virtual League. There will also be opportunities to take part in Regional Festivals enabling young people to receive some coaching and compete for their county.

CYP offer a Leadership Programme that enables young people to develop skills in leadership and teamwork, the area courses are OCN Level one accredited and the National course is designed as a natural progression, where successful participants can achieve a level two OCN qualification.

Professional coaches from the British Cheerleading Association deliver a vibrant and energetic programme incorporating plenty of opportunity for both practising and perfecting formations and routines.
